I know, the headline is risque, but it got your attention, right? Hey, I'm a Make-up Artist, a Fitness Instructor (kickboxing/Pilates) and I design for and own my own tshirt company, so this is not such a stretch! I have a creative and active lifestyle and I believe in pursuing life--not waiting for things to happen. I have a lot of energy and a very adventurous and youthful spirit; Most people think I'm younger than my age. I love my work, love to travel, meet new people, learn new things. I take care of myself well, and I'm not materialistic or pretentious, just REAL. Life fascinates me and I have one mood pretty much all the time. (a good one!) I can be very silly and animated, but in the next breath discuss current events, politics, philosophy, cars, or debate global issues with you. I can be at home cooking an incredible meal one night and dressed to the nines out dancing or at a ballet the next.
Can I just say that there seems to be an immediate stigma that comes with women over 40? Why do guys my age want to date women in their 20's and why do I get hit on all the time by guys in their 20's? There's something really strange going on in the dating world!! For the record, I am definately not your typical over 40 image... whatever that may be. Meet me and you'll see! ;)
My Ideal Person:
I'm seeking a man of strong character who is comfortable in his skin and not intimidated by an accomplished, intelligent and outgoing woman. I believe in give-and-take in a relationship: a partnership. Chemistry and attraction are essential (of course), but I also realize the importance of a deeper, multi-faceted connection. I value passion and compassion, maturity and some degree of self-actualization, a sense of humor and adventure/curiosity, and an appreciation for life. I'd like to meet someone who can play as passionately as he works, laugh easily, and wants to love and be loved. Someone who is flexible, and intrigued by the thought of exploring each other's 'likes' as well as differences and uniqueness. After all, isn't that what makes life and relationships interesting and fun?
- The last great book I read
Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. Wow-it was fantastic.
The Kite Runner. Also, Trump's book on 'the best
business advice I ever received'. Really insightful and thought-provoking.
I love learning from other people's experiences. People fascinate me in general!
- My most humbling moment
2003-my house burned down, my car got totaled a month later and that was just the beginning.
My family and friends stepped up in a big way. It's amazing to have life as you know it stripped away and be forced to put a magnifying glass up to what really ends up being significant.
- Favorite on-screen sex scene
Brad Pitt and Claire Forlani in Meet Joe Black. Susan Sarandon
and James Spader in White Palace. Yeah, I really liked the Secretary too....
- The celebrity I resemble the most
Honestly, who cares? I look like me!
- The best or worst lie I've ever told
Ohhhh--I am THE worst liar! But when I was young I was REEEEAALLLYYY
good at it. So you'll have to ask me about some of those!
;-}
- If I could be anywhere right now
I'd be traveling the world...
- Five items I can't live without
Freedom --5 senses --good health --artistic ability --Love
- Fill in the blank: _____ is sexy; _____ is sexier.
A nice body is sexy, beautiful eyes are sexier.
- In my bedroom one will find...
A comfy bed with space foam and flannel sheets...lot's
of billowy stuff hanging from the ceiling...candles...girly
things...I'm an artist and that reflects throughout my house! One of
my favorite artist's pieces hangs in my bedroom.
