I try not to take myself too seriously. I really care about people. I'm a really good listener. Writing's not my thing, painting is, if I had to choose, so if this post sounds boring you can blame... me. I like to go to indie movies, explore restaurants, and hit gallery openings. I like to cook. I like really ridiculously funny things like those weird Zataran's commercials for jambalaya rice. I frequently do the night hikes in Griffith Park
I'm good at communicating, bad at math and geography. I love to hold hands.
New obsessions:
Daring myself to do something scary.
plein air painting
researching trip to Spain
finding the best taco in L.A.
Basically my life is really balanced. I've worked hard to reach this point. At the moment I have a lot of passions: meditation, yoga, an art group, painting portraits in acrylics, tiny things, Giant Robot, ramen, Bicycle Kitchen, hiking Griffith Park then eating at that little snack shack on the Ferndell side, book stores and pouring over all the magazines and art books.
My Ideal Person:
You are normal, happy, independent, realistically confident, appreciate good art/design, and are kind and caring. Funny's always appreciated.
Self-centeredness is boring.
Smart is sexy.
- The last great book I read
The Joy Diet, Art and Fear
I'm currently reading a biography of Joseph Cornell,
Utopia Parkway. A brilliant, shy, assemblage artist from
the 40's and 50's.
I'm also reading David Sedaris' latest, When
You Are Engulfed in Flames. So funny!
- My most humbling moment
Moving back from New York.
- Favorite on-screen sex scene
Stealing Beauty
- The celebrity I resemble the most
Not many Asians to choose from really.
- The best or worst lie I've ever told
I love working here!
- If I could be anywhere right now
I'd like to be in New York right now at this very moment,
but I love where I live.
- Five items I can't live without
love, hope, art, the city, avocados
- In my bedroom one will find...
clothes on the floor, big comfy bed with quilt and down comforter,
Heywood Wakefield side table, books on Italy, erotica,
art. novels.
