My Ideal Person:
I am generally interested in girls on the femme-y or androgynous side, but I’m much more interested in how I get along with someone than whether or not that person matches a list of expectations. I am not into strict roles but I do want someone that wants to take total control some of the time. When I push, push back harder.

Playful is important. Honesty is crucial. I am looking for a girl that is content on her own but is interested in exploring other possibilities. I am not into dating someone with a significant other, even if the ‘other’ is cool with it. That’s just not where I’m at right now. Environmentally aware is important to me - I do what I can but I am not militant and I have a hard time with people that are militant about just about anything.

I am looking for a girl that is not embarrassed by who she is or what she wants. Someone creative and intellectually curious who is open to spontaneity, fluent in sarcasm, and thinks that sexy is being happy in your own skin. I am interested in people that know who they want to be even if they aren’t exactly sure how to get there. I am definitely outgoing but I have a quiet side and I am drawn to that balance in other people.

Bonus points for tattoos, a love of art, knowledge of films foreign and otherwise, the desire to introduce me to new music, and a shared frustration with the abuse of apostrophes and other punctuation.

  That's a hard question. I've read a bunch of intersting
  books recently, but nothing great. My current favorite
  book is Anne Carson's Autobiography of Red.

  I don’t have a moment. I think humility comes from being
  able to acknowledge that you're not so big in the grand
  scheme and life reminds me of that whenever I forget.

  The first one that comes to mind is the pool scene with Shane
  on the L Word.

  Someone once told me I look like Whoopi Goldberg from the
  eyebrows up. What does that even mean?

  Once, a cheesy dude in a bar asked me what I 'did'
  and I said I was the Quentin Tarantino of Eastern European
  music videos.

  I would be on the verge of sleep in a hammock on a warm afternoon.
