I've never done one of these internet things specifically for meeting people. It's a little weird, a little awkward, and I'm a little skeptical, but y'know, what are ya gonna do?? Let mejust say this: if you are looking for something serious beyond a casual friendship with myself and my long-term partner, I'm probably NOT the person for you. I'm a pretty outgoing, somewhat loud, queer / bisexual woman living in Brooklyn & working in Manhattan. I would definitely describe myself as a literary nerd type. I occasionally enjoy going out for drinks with friends (you can often find me at local Brooklyn bars--Catty Shack is definitely in the top 5), and I love being social and meeting new people. I'm mostly girl-centered / oriented / whatever, but I am in a long-term serious relationship with a straight man. We are open in our relationship with women--we are very easy-going & open people who enjoy the company of like-minded women from time to time. We live together in Brooklyn (like I said), enjoy coffee, chinese food, drinking wine, watching movies, pretty girls, and staying-up late.
My Ideal Person:
I'd love to meet some new, intelligent, interesting, fun, cultured, sophisticated women with similar interests in NYC to spend some casual time with. Feel free to contact me and maybe we can meet for drinks sometime. I'm horrible with this new "internet flirting" thing, so please forgive the absurdity of my "winking" and basically awkward "i think you're hotlon" emails... Just bear with me, people...
- The last great book I read

Zadie Smith Po Bronson (he's hilarious)
- The celebrity I resemble the most
I've been getting Christina Ricci quite a lot since

- Five items I can't live without
coffee, that nice rosebud lip salve that always gets lost
in my bag, bobby pins, a toothbrush, and a good eyeliner
