Intense conversations over good food and wine make up a majority of my memories of late. The company of my friends, art, books and warm bodies of water are my earthly delights. As far as Heaven is concern, I have a minimalist vision: a cherry tree with low branches from which I can pick fruit ad nauseam. Foreign movies and the general expression of existentialist pathos does not scare me: I genuinely am entertained by it. I am also somewhat devoted to hiking: and I don’t mean Runyon Canyon.
Otherwise, my heart is in my art practice. I have been lucky so far in having been able to maintain it. I show often, locally and Internationally. I draw my subjects from my favorite things: people, food, movies, landscapes and all the displacement those categories seem to provoke.
My Ideal Person:
I am looking for someone who has had many lives and is a good storyteller. Someone willing to pack a bag at the drop of a hat and gets giddy at the idea of suddenly spending the night in the desert. I am looking forward to share odd thoughts with a person genuinely interested in experimenting with life’s parameters. You must be a good kisser: make it rain inside the car, don’t just steam up the windows (this is not a metaphor). Ramen, is not a dish you’re afraid of. You also love to cook but are already willing to stay out of my kitchen. Anything else, you don’t get to stay out of.

fins, ink and paper, milk, latest Radiohead album (for
the moment), pasta.
